Our little Brady family went to the Great Wolf Lodge this weekend and had a fabulous time! We had such a fun room with bunkbeds for Molly. She thought it was the coolest thing ever. We, of course, participated in the Magiquest game throughout the hotel and Molly picked out a pink wand with a Pegasus charm (suprised?). Blake stayed up till the game turned off at 11 PM trying to finish the quests. He felt pretty dumb walking around with the pink pegasus wand. Porter got his own red jeweled wand and they were nice enough to put it on demo so he thought he was playing. We ruled the water park for almost 4 hours the first day and the kiddos were so beat that Molly asked to return to our room. Porter was a little shy of the water but warmed up to the idea of running around by himself! He didn't want anyone to hold on to him. And then he wanted to go down the BIG slide by himself! He went down on his belly and pushed himself off. He didn't want any help. After he did it once, it was over... we went again, again and again! We had to pry him out of the water because he was so tired he just walked around whining. Storytime was at 8 PM and the lodge had a fun show prepared. Molly laid out her blanket and was a little preturbed that other kids were infringing on her space. I was just glad that the moving trees and puppets didn't freak her out like they did to another girl. It was the perfect way to close a fun filled day. The kiddos were out within five minutes and slept till 8 AM the next morning. Molly woke up, threw open the curtains and said, "Mom, Dad, it's morning!"... Vacations seemed a little more relaxing when I was a kid, mmm. But we all had a great time!

Bulls Night Out!
We went to the stock show last night and had a fabulous time! As soon as we pulled up Molly started jumping up and down at all the lights from the carnival rides. I had to purchase a load of tickets to satiate her craving for extreme riding. Molly actually rode the tallest slide with her daddy in a potato sack. I was a little intimidated by it, to be honest, and I volunteered Blake to go with her. I think he was just as excited. Porter was not so much a fan and opted to eat corn dogs and funnel cakes. That boy can pound some food. After the rides we went into the exhibition hall and gawked at the tractors and trailers. Porter did not want to get off the trailers unless it was to move to a four wheeler. Molly spent 10 minutes with Elsie (the Bowden cow) and had a good talk with Grandpop about buying one. Thank goodness she didn't want to take "Fancy" home, the pony she got to ride on. But we did have an addition to our car ride home... Sparkle Lily Brady. She won Sparkles playing a carnival game. She is currently in Molly's backpack at school.
The rodeo was amazing. Bulls Night Out is a whole night of bull ridin! I am always amazed at the cowboys and how they manage to stay on those bulls. My favorite is cowboy poker. That is when four guys sit at a table while a bull is let into the ring. The last cowboy siting at the table wins the cash. Last year the bull actually ran right into a guys chair and chucked him across the arena. He was fine and it made for a good show! We didn't take any pictures of the bulls because we each had a kid in our lap, a camera bag and my purse. The seats are more compact than the worst airline, so snapping shots wasn't on my mind. But we had a GREAT time! We realized that each one of our kids have never missed a stock show since they were born... Brady tradition!

The Lake
Molly's Special Day at CLC
Molly had her special day today at her preschool. It was so much fun to be able to see her around her teachers and friends. Molly shared a special snack with everyone, brownies and pirate booty. We also got to share pictures of her and read her favorite story, "Don't let the pigeon drive the bus". She got to be the line leader ALL day!
It was a fabulous day!

December 23... Two more sleeps
So that's what I told the kiddos this morning... two more sleeps till Christmas:)As Mollys says everyday with tears, "I just having a really hard time waiting for Santa". The magic is here, in her eyes.
To take everyone's mind off of the presents under the tree, I raked up the leaves in the front yard and Molly jumped right in! I tried to get some pics of her, but she was moving so fast it was hard. Porter lost interest in the leaves and played in my flower bed, aka: the sandbox. Then Zoe showed him her stick and he wasn't going to let it go. Zoe was so confused as to why he wouldn't throw it, but it wasn't until I gave him a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie that he decided, "Whatever, you can have it for a cookie".
Jinx just glared at us the entire time.
