My conversation with a two year-old
"Mommy, can I have a brownie please? Please?"
"No baby, you stuck your fingers in them and didn't obey Mommy so you don't get to have one now... I'm sorry you made that choice. Are you hungry, would you like some chicken nuggets or cheese (staples in this house)?"
"(Sigh)... No. Chicken nuggets and cheese make my tummy hurt, give me coughs and.. and... the hiccups. Oh, and LOTS of flu. I want a brownie."

Old pic of Molly, but appropriate for this post :)

Valentine's Day!
Molly had a little Valentine's Day celebration in her cutie dress. My friend Keri is an amazing and creative seamstress. She makes Molly the cutest outfits :) I'm so lucky to have such a talented friend. So Molly did some posing for me outside.
Happy Valentine's Day!

And then we had to yell at the dog...

Stock Show
It's been a while since I posted, so I thought I'd put up a few pics from last month. We went to the stock show for "Bulls Night Out". It was awesome! It was wild cows and INSANE cowboys! My favorite part was when they did "Cowboy Poker". Four cowboys sat at a card table in the middle of the ring and a bull was let out. The last cowboy to stay sitting at the table won a bunch of money. The cowboy who won got his belt ripped in half by the bull. It was intense!
Molly got her first cowgirl hat, and I'm not surprised that it was purple and had a light up tiara. My picture in a cowgirl hat shows off my new Mommy bags under the eyes. Can you tell I haven't had much sleep since Porter was born??
Anyways, life has been busy but fun. Two kids is no joke! Everyday I try to keep up with my kids and be the best mom I can possibly be!

Catch up
I downloaded a bunch of pics I had waiting on my camera and found some I wanted to post. They're pretty random, but that is what our life is now with two kids... random. You never know what's going to happen at our house!
Here is a great pic Blake took from inside the house during our white Christmas--I think it's beautiful.

Porter did a lot of this during the holidays:

He's such a cutie sweetheart

Okay, here are the two cousins. Believe me when I tell you they are only 2 1/2 months apart! Saxon is almost 18 pounds and is three months old! When we saw him at New Years Blake and I almost fell over in our chairs... but my mom wasn't suprised because my brother Tyler was identical at that age. I can't wait to see Saxon again, he is adorable!

Molly had a blast over Christmas because there was always ice cream on the counter. And for all of you Texans, you know this is the good stuff!

Blake let Molly watch TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) with him. I thought it was a little spooky for her age, but she was so engrossed that I gave in. Please don't judge... Now why my 28 year-old husband is watching TMNT-- that's something to think about.
