Molly's Emo Pic
I've been wanting to post this for a while. I get a kick out of Molly's Emo look. I learned what Emo is from all the hip teenagers I associate with. If you are out of it like I was, here's the definition:
Emo (pronounced /ˈiːmoʊ/) is a genre of music that originated from hardcore punk [1] and later adopted pop punk influences when it became mainstream in the US.
Today emo is more commonly tied to fashion than to music,[18] and the term "emo" is sometimes stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes, dyed black, straight hair, tight t-shirts (sometimes short sleeved) which often bear the names of emo bands (or other designer shirts), studded belts, belt buckles, canvas sneakers or skate shoes or other black shoes (often old and beaten up) and thick, black horn-rimmed glasses.[19][20][21] This fashion has at times been characterized as a fad.[22]

Wanna go on a road trip??
Blake and I have been traveling back and forth to Austin a lot finishing up my parent's house. Molly loves being out in the hill country but the drive is sometimes a little rough. We try to go at night and make stops where she can run around and play. We recently borrowed grandma's DVD player and Elmo has been a gift from toddler heaven! Everytime she gets in the car she says, "Mama... Elmo! Elmo! Elmo!"
What have we started?
What have we started?
FaLL!
Blake and I have been so busy in Austin that I have been neglecting my blog. So I'm here to catch up! Molly has officially moved into toddler-dom and I am really going crazy. She is practically perfect in every way to both grandmas, but her develish eye comes only when I am looking. Smart child...
