Stock Show Birthdays!

My mother-in-law reminded me that it's been a long time since I've posted. So here I am making up for the past week. My father-in-law, Michael, and I have January birthdays so it is a tradition that we have birthday fun at the Fort Worth stock show. It is always a blast and now that Molly is getting older it is even more fun!We spent a lot of time hanging out with the show animals and riding ponies. We had a ton of junk food and amazing BBQ. Then we went to the rodeo. It was Molly's second rodeo, although her first one was spent in the hallway. She was scared of the loud beeping noise they used to start and stop the Cowboy's time.

We had a great time. And it was the perfect event to wear my real Cowgirl hat to! I fit RIGHT in, let me tell ya. But next year I really do need to have Cowgirl boots!

Playing with Tu-tu

We are spending the weekend with my family in Blanco and Molly has become attached to my brother Tyler's dog, Talula. As we were all sitting down for a fabulous dinner, Molly slipped away and was playing with my mom's paper dolls. Tu-tu was sitting on the floor next to her so Molly shared her dolls and played with her new friend. It was very cute... she even put the paper dolls in Tu-tu's hands. We didn't help at all.

Blanco Fun

Blake, Molly and I have been spending a lot of time at my parent's house in Blanco, which is 45 minutes south of Austin. Blake has almost finished construction and they have moved in. As you can tell from the pictures, they still have a lot to move in and organize. My cousin Aaron and his family (Kristin, Lily and baby Gunnar) came over from San Antonio to help move some of the heavy items in. Molly fell in love with Lily. She followed Lily around everywhere and Lily loved being the social director of the young kids. She taught Molly how blow whistles, snuggle for a movie and play house. Gunnar was just along for the ride.

Blake also took some time out to snuggle and show Molly how to install light fixtures. Cutie.
