Swinging Away!

I'm so excited that Blake and I finally get to see Molly enjoy the playground! She loves to swing on the swings, but hasn't quite warmed up to the slide. Grandma Libby has a big playground right by her house and we spent part of our Sunday afternoon checkin it out. I'm sure it will be a big hit in a couple years. It's pretty pathetic how excited we get about swings, but it's amazing what you will do to watch your baby smile.

Molly's Post

Today mommy took me to the doctor. She brought Grandma Libby along, so that was fun. But I did not like my visit one bit! I thought that if I was nice and didn't cry the whole time that maybe I wouldn't get poked in the leg with that needle again... I was wrong! So very wrong!

I knew it was coming when they striped me down and put me on that cold scale again. I was 17.8 pounds and they called me "chunky" like I wasn't listening. Hello, I'm right here? To get back at them I peed on exam table.

When the nurse came in with all the needles, I knew I was in trouble. She tried to trick me by saying I only had three shots, but one of them I had to swallow. That was even worse! But I tried to be good and mommy held me tight. Good thing I don't have to come back here for six months!

My battle wounds!

Baby it's Cold Outside!

It's getting cold outside and it's time for winter wear! Dallas is finally cooling off. I can't believe it's almost Christmas again. I played Christmas songs all day getting pumped up for the holiday season. Yes, I am one of those people...

Washington

Molly and I are having a blast! I got my hair done on Thursday and am really liking it. I decided to commit to bangs--we'll see how it goes. My parents got their house plans in the mail for the house they are building in Texas. We went over them and are super excited about the move. Of course we have done a ton of shopping and eating... a Smith girl ritual. Molly fits in well with the millions of outfits my mom has purchased over the past two days. We got her professionally photographed on Friday and she turned on the charm. She smiled and laughed for the camera. I will post the pics as soon as I get them back. My sweet dog Abby loves Molly and lets her pull her hair... the white hair around her face tells her age. We are having fun but I miss Blake already. When he talks to Molly on the phone she cries and wants him to hold her. We'll be back Monday night and I'm sure she'll have lots of stories to tell her daddy!
