Mischief Managed!

I am enjoying my moment on the couch watching Oprah when all of a sudden it is a little too quiet... the sound of peace can only mean one thing--someone is being mischievious. So I find her cramed in her new spot, behind the loveseat, demolishing the DVD cabinet.

I don't know if my child is just too smart for her own good, or if it is my lack of parenting at 11 months, but Molly has turned into a little spit-fire! She loves to shreik at a pitch only the dog can hear whenever she's mad, happy, or for no reason at all. She enjoys biting, pinching, and slapping anything and everything. Of course if a waitress or grandparent were to ask her what is the matter she would smile and melt their heart, but to everyday mom and dad she can be a monster. Thank goodness we have a dog she can boss around.

But then we have the moments that she looks up at us and smiles with pure joy and it makes it all worth it. Tell me, is this just a phase or am I in trouble for the next 18 years???

I've heard that it gets better when they are 5. I am praying that this is true. I completely understand fearing silence - I always know that something horrible is happening if everything seems peaceful!

She is very advanced for her age. I can't believe she is so naughty (curious) already!

What a cutie! Kaiya does the same kind of things, if I turn my back for a second she is splashing the dogs water bowl all over the kitchen or eating shoes. She has that same outfit in the second picture, we should put them both in them and have a photo shoot!
