I thought I would do a blog post on our road trip back to Dallas. It will hopefully kill an hour out of our 4.5 hour drive! Molly is asleep in the backseat exhausted from the hot weather and crazy weekend fun.
We pulled into Houston Friday morning and went to my parent's hotel to hang out. It was so fun to see everyone especially my brother Brian and his family. We hadn't seen them in almost a year and a half. Molly had never met her cousins Matthew and Daniel. Now they are joined at the hip with Matthew and Daniel asking, "Can I play with Molly?" They were so good with her and gave her the best weekend ever! Matthew and Daniel would sit down with her and make faces for hours while she laughed and laughed (see pic below).
Friday night there was a dinner at Tyler's favorite restaurant Mission Burrito. It was super casual and a lot of fun. Tyler's friends from college came down and it was fun to catch up with them as well. We celebrated the night with chips and queso, guacamole, salsa and every other spicy thing! After the dinner Blake, Molly and I went to our friend's house who we met in Tampa to crash for the night. They are always a blast so we ended up chatting till the wee hours of the night and crawling into bed EXHAUSTED. It was no surprise that Molly slept through the night.
Saturday was the wedding and we met at the temple early. It was a beautiful ceremony and I was crying tears of joy. I couldn't be more excited for Tyler and Andrea. We took pictures outside and then met at the Rose Garden at six. Andrea's family are not members of the church so a ring ceremony was performed in the rose garden. They laid down a white carpet for Andrea to walk down on and flower girls led the way sprinkling rose petals. It was beautiful.
I loved Tyler and Andrea's theme colors... wildflowers of every kind. The banquet hall was covered in flowers of every shape and color.

For those of you who do not know my grandmother, she is a wedding dress designer and absolutely amazing!! She made Andrea's dress as well as my own (I will have to post a pic of mine later). She used the finest fabrics on Andrea's dress and made it look as though it was one seamless piece of fabric. If purchased in a store, I'm sure it would run up to $7,000-$10,000 having been custom made to fit her body. It was GORGEOUS! We are so lucky to have such a talented lady in our family!
